Raise Master Concrete Leveling needed quality copy to sell the service, but they also needed a fair bit of content to make their service understood by their target audience. Because concrete leveling competition is relatively sparse in their area, I chose to compare the price of leveling vs. replacement as the primary benefit, mentioning the exceptional quality of the service only briefly on the home page, and leaving a thorough explanation of their service on interior pages. The overall effect is to wow customers with the low, low price (75% off is a very impressive figure), and use it as a lure for the detailed content beyond.
Native American Children's Alliance
The NACA needed to explain briefly, yet completely, the history of child maltreatment among Native Americans and the current plight of abused Native American children to potential donors and Native communities. I researched and wrote an honest, sympathetic, and historically accurate two page fact sheet.
Lint Center for National Security Studies
The Lint Center is a scholarship foundation created and maintained by intelligence industry experts. I wrote, edited, and set up distribution of their new newsletter. The goal was to build support among potential mentors and entice new scholarship applicants, so I interviewed mentors, past winners, recruiting agents, and donors to showcase the good the center has done. This was a surprisingly challenging assignment because, as professional intellegence opperatives, most of my interviewees had literally made a career of avoiding questions and dodging cameras.
